OUR MISSION
We, the members of Rutgers MSIS Society declare the goals and mission of
our organization to be as follows:

|
To provide information and insight into the MSIS major to underclassmen who are considering application to the school of Business and/or the MSIS major through open forum discussions.
|

|
To open lines of communication between administration, faculty and
students within the School of Business and particularly within the MSIS
major.
|
|
3
|
To introduce MSIS students to professionals already in the field
to assist them in the exploration of career and employment possibilities
and to keep them abreast of the direction of future employment needs.
|
|

|
To function as a support group providing tutoring and other
services as needs arise.
|
|
5
|
To provide educational opportunities in the form of workshops,
lectures or seminars to explore the myriad aspects of our chosen major and to explore the challenges of higher education and academic research.

|
To form a cohesive group supporting on-going curriculum changes to
reflect changes in the corporate environment.
|
|
7
|
To act as a liaison between students and local companies and
corporations as well as remaining informed of the ever-changing
requirements of graduates for their future workplaces.
